why i insist on not taking photos
have you ever lose focus on the enjoying the present because of taking photos?
what is the last time you check your photos in your google drive or external hard disk?? can you guarantee your photos wont lost in the future? just like my 2 years of videos lost at the middle of no where in russia?have you ever lose focus on the enjoying the present because of taking photos?

is it because i dont have enough devices to take picture?
absolutely no. i have iphone 8, ipad, and canon80D. i even have youtube channel, normally people with these situations likes to take more photos.
but i still dont want to…
why i dont want to take pictures
it depends on the situation, for example: if its a fantastic nature/historic scene/ocean/building. i would rather use my eye to enjoy/remember the moment rather than sacrifice my present focus on taking photos. i would rather enjoy each time i visit these cool place in person rather than seeing these pictures on my phone or internet.
also if its like, i had a good time with this person, in your case, your friend/family. i still dont want to take a picture, because what makes our memory meaningful/ interesting is the conversation we had, the constant changing emotions that we had, the body interaction that we had. the data in my brain, not in camera.
but recently i have being practicing to take more pictures, because i need to prove that i have truly experience these, and give my viewers more information, not for me.
i should even take lesser videos
some people call me i am a blogger, a youtuber. well i dont know who the fuck i am, i just want be everything, by experiencing different aspect of life. i want to record it down to share my future 50 year old self, and motivate teenagers to live a more meaningful life.
but why i should take lesser videos is because, i wasnt enjoying it too much, for example, i have already ask questions or normal people would say interview to more than 200 people in russia, therefore i have more than 90 of videos from them, and a lot of them, the answer, is pretty much the same.on top of that, most of their answers are the answers that i could come up with by myself, for example:
eric(me): “what are the bad habits that you have?”
stranger: “i am lazy”
i got this answers for more than 180 times and of course i know most of the people has way more bad habits than these, i think its better for me to make conclusion, to imagine the possible answer for the rest of the 99 percent people on this planet. because people are the same except external appearance.
the only situation i take pictures
@1 making others happy: for example, while i am approaching strangers on the street, quite a lot people ask if they could take selfie with me, if i say yes, then they would feel like being recognized by me.
@2 collect information to draw conclusion: take myself as an example: i have been taking pictures about “narrow russian road create conflict to people”. the purpose for me to take these pictures is not to keep my beauty or to psychologically restore my beauty in my sim card, i do this because i want to make a meaningful video to improve the society.
