First of all, we need to have a premise that ethics and morality is not a universal rule, in other words, these are subjective rule that is invented by us, I understand this is highly debatable but we need to accept this idea first, to continue the story.

Establishing this law is simply for defense mechanism. (You don’t want to get killed) (I myself don’t want to get killed)

But until yesterday, I dreamed, and it changed my perspective about suicide and homicide.

So my dream

I saw my host was helping a drunk homeless guy, helped her to get on raft because the homeless was drowning in a pond. we know she is homeless because I am in my dream! I know my setting!

I was the observer beside the pond, watch the entire situation happen, quietly commented in my brain

“My host is a good girl”

But what happened next, shocked me.

My host turned his head back, walk back ,grabbed the homeless and drag him down off the raft and push her into the pond.

The homeless come out?

No, she doesn’t because she was drunk as fuck.

Story finish, what do I learn from here?

If, remember I said if, if we know that the homeless is suffering from depression severely, and we know that the homeless is a alcoholic. Why shouldn’t we relieve his suffering?

If the majority amount of time cause a person suffer, why do we keep them alive ? What ? No pain no gain ?

See, people like pain I know, but we want it consensually, with our permission.

But most people who suffered from severe depression they are just like us who has little free will, they are severely depressed because of environmental and biological reasons, which is very unlucky of them.

And if they don’t have the chance to have psychotherapy, chances are, they are going to suffer indefinite amount of years.

Now, do we want to allow the suffering? or kill them when they are numb, day-dreaming and potentially don’t want to live ?
