How i regain focus super quick!

brief intro: i am the type of person that once i feel super tired, i will not work again. my consciousness tell me i should, but my behavior doesnt like to follow instruction from consciouness

goal: i dont want to waste my energy

story background

i was working on asking my whatsapp contact about their life,take notes from what they answered me then arranged answers. in the afternoon, i have done arranging note from my vladivastok host, from my parent, from my partner who i met in airport. i knew as an observer without further understanding the situation, this might sound easy and not tiring. yes i agree:)) but the thing that a usual observer cannot see is that , the conversation i had with these people, was tiring because they are either not good in english(im still so-so in russian lan) or lacking of attention.

the notes i took make me tired too, since i was trying so hard to ask deeper questions, seeking for enlightenment. Fortunately, i had:)) . but until this point i have to admit that asking deeper question, in another word , having high engagement conversation could be very exhausting. what makes my brain even more messed up is that, i ended up drafting 3 new articles out of my notes, on top of that, i noticed that there are 3 more unfinished articles on my google document…

how i get back to working on my goal?

i list out things i want to finish within 2 days

first of all i analyze what are the things i want to do,i write it down. secondly, i delete things that is not emergent. thirdly, i lay down and meditate, i plan to meditate for 20 minutes

BUT!

i only did it for 10 minutes, at the 9th i came up with a superb idea that i must record it down. im pretty sure this is not the aim of doing meditation for most of the people but i value “cool ideas” as the most important thing in my life.

BUT!

even just 10 minutes of meditate i was already ready to go and work on my goals. i intentionally pick the easiest one so that i wont feel so tired again:))

in conclusion, if you ask me what is the key for me to recover or regain the focus and keep moving on, is meditation and clear vision/ goal.
